Alpha Chillet is a level-11 field boss around (172, -418), south of Fort Ruins in Windswept Hills. Start from the Fort Ruins fast-travel point and head south. The coordinate marks the Alpha encounter; ordinary Chillet can appear elsewhere.
Approach from Fort Ruins
Look for Chillet outdoors rather than a dome or entrance prompt. It can move around the encounter area, so search the surrounding ground if it is not standing exactly on the coordinate.
Before attacking, find room to dodge sideways and keep your route back toward Fort Ruins in sight. Starting from open ground is easier than chasing Chillet into a cramped spot while trying to aim.
You do not need to unlock Fort Ruins to fight Chillet. Unlocking the statue first simply makes return trips easier.
Dodge first, then line up the capture
Chillet is Ice/Dragon. At this level it has Rocket Slam, a forward jumping attack, so keep space for a sideways dodge when it commits to moving toward you. You can find this Alpha during the day or at night.
If you bring a Fire attacker, check its level and equipped attacks before relying on it. Use the first few exchanges to judge how quickly each side is losing health.
For a catch, use your stronger attacks early, then switch to something weaker before Chillet's health gets low. Recall your Pal if it is taking large chunks out of the remaining health bar. Give yourself time to aim without another attack finishing the boss.
Bring spare spheres and check the capture chance while aiming. Switch to a stronger sphere type if the chance is low.
Craft the saddle after the catch
Chillet's saddle technology unlocks at level 11. While mounted, its partner effect changes the player's attacks to Dragon and increases attack.
If you caught Chillet to ride it, crafting the saddle is your next useful step. Try a familiar journey before taking it somewhere dangerous; the mount guide can help you compare later options.
If the Alpha is missing, check whether another player recently completed the encounter before searching farther away. Respawn timing can depend on your world and server settings.
