Palworld Mixed Resource Bases: Ore, Coal, Quartz and Oil

Palworld 1.0.4Published 3 min readPalworldresource locationsbase locations

For several different resources, scout the Land of Absolute Zero peninsula at (141, 416) first: oil, Pure Quartz, Ore, Coal and Stone are reported together there. If you specifically want three minerals inside a single Palbox layout, the older Frostbound Mountains spot at (206, 99) has a reported Ore + Coal + Pure Quartz setup. Check the deposits in your world before moving a working base.

Use the resource location finder to combine material filters. Three oil fields supply one material; they do not satisfy a search for three different resources. Stone and Wood count as separate construction materials, but choose Ore, Coal and Quartz explicitly if those are the shortages you need to solve.

Compare the material combinations

These coordinates are scouting destinations. “Together” does not establish that every deposit fits your chosen base boundary, and the older reports predate the current world changes.

The Obsidian and Feybreak combinations include Early Access locations. Recheck the deposits and their spacing in your current world.

Keep nearby trips separate from base production

The Frostbound Mountains report describes four Quartz deposits, one Coal and one Ore within one Palbox circle, with Sulfur a separate flight away. That makes it a three-mineral base candidate, not a four-mineral automated farm. Treat the counts as an older scouting lead.

The same distinction matters on Feybreak. The site at (-1174, -1268) is reported with Hexolite Quartz and Oil, while Chromite lies north of the base. Revealing and mining that Chromite is another job on your route. Bring a Metal Detector or Smokie, and do not include it in the base's expected automatic output.

Scout in the order that avoids a wasted move

  1. Choose two shortages first. A base that solves Coal and Sulfur is more useful to an ammunition shortage than one offering four materials you already have.
  2. Visit with travel gear and a way home. Bring the region's temperature protection, enough carrying capacity, and a mount suited to the approach.
  3. Find the awkward resource. Start with the oil field, isolated coal deposit or lower ledge. Place the proposed boundary around that constraint before considering decorative buildings.
  4. Test the smallest layout. Put down the Palbox, essential worker facilities and storage. Watch a suitable worker reach each resource you intend to automate.
  5. Leave the old supply running until this works. Check collection and replenishment in your own world before committing your main workshop to the move.

For example, if a site has abundant Ore but its only Coal deposit sits outside your boundary, moving the Palbox toward Coal may solve the refining shortage even if it sacrifices some Ore. A larger headline node count does not answer that placement problem.

When a mixed base is the wrong next step

Once the relevant mining facilities are unlocked, a comfortable production base can cover materials without natural deposits. Compare that option with the travel, rebuilding and worker costs of a new outpost. Oil also has a field-free High-Pressure extractor option, with a higher electricity requirement; see the oil setup guide before choosing on location alone.

Some materials call for a trip instead. Coralum Ore comes from ocean salvage and other sources, while natural Paloxite is a World Tree gathering objective. The resource reference explains these acquisition routes without presenting them as ordinary land deposits. Use the metal farming guide to turn your chosen combination into a specific crafting target.
